OUR MISSION
The Golden Thread Experience™ exists to help every girl know who she is, value where she comes from, and believe in who she can become.
Through story, reflection and meaningful connection across generations, we create experiences that help girls discover the strengths, values, passions and truths that make them uniquely themselves.
We honour the stories that came before them, strengthen their sense of belonging in the present, and encourage them to look towards their future with curiosity, confidence and courage.
Because when a girl understands the threads that have shaped her, she can begin to choose the ones she wants to carry forward.

Created by Sarah Bifield, entrepreneur, certified Life & Health Coach and global facilitator specialising in women navigating life transitions,
The Golden Thread Experience™ draws upon more than two decades of study, exploration and work in identity, personal growth, purpose and human development. Sarah graduated with Highest Honours in Adult Psychology and has continued to deepen her understanding of how identity, confidence and our sense of possibility evolve throughout our lives.
Her work brings this developmental perspective together with a lifelong fascination with social history, genealogy, family stories and the threads that connect generations.
The Golden Thread is the culmination of these worlds — combining developmental insight with storytelling, creativity and intergenerational connection to create a strengths-based experience that helps girls understand where they come from, discover who they are and imagine who they might become.

Our Promise to You The Golden Thread Fair™ is an educational and creative experience that encourages curiosity, confidence, connection and personal growth through storytelling, imagination, creativity and meaningful conversations within your own family.
It is not therapy, counselling, diagnosis or professional advice.
Every activity has been thoughtfully designed to be age-appropriate, strengths-based and psychologically safe. Young companions are invited to participate at their own pace alongside their parent, grandparent or trusted Fair Companion, and no one is ever expected to share anything they are not comfortable sharing.

The Golden Thread Fair™ has been created to strengthen relationships across generations while helping young people discover their strengths, values and unique potential. It is designed to complement, not replace, the guidance of parents, educators and healthcare professionals.
If you have concerns about a young person's emotional wellbeing, we encourage you to seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
